Hi FS peeps. I am a 65 year old guy, happily (for the most part) married to the love of my life (62). I smoked for 33 years, quit at age 50 and started picking up weight. At 224.8 lbs I decided to quit the gaining weight too. About 35 years ago I was in a terrible auto crash and broke my neck and had 2 vertebrae squashed, so I'm an inch shorter than before. Extra weight result into back pain, so that's my primary reason losing the pounds. I managed to get down to 157 lbs at which point I had zero back pain, however I lost control and picked up some lbs along the way. My perceived ideal weight is 143.3 lbs (BMI of 20).
I am an avid runner, and unfortunately eat more to compensate than I should.
