Day 1 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
I 🏋🏾♂️ lifted weights but I did not 🏃🏾♂️ run as I planned yesterday. Just-wasn’t-feeling-it 🥺.
What is important is that I was able to eat whatever I wanted all weekend and now feel ‘mentally’ ready to not eat any solid food for the rest of the week 👍🏾😁
When you have been doing this for over a year, like I have, being ‘mentally’ ready is the most important thing.
My new goal weight is 159 pounds. The main reason for this is that I would technically be in the 150s. At 5’8” this would be a very big deal for me. I have never been 5'8" and in the 150's. Last time that happened I was in high school and my height was probably around 5'4".
I hope to hit that goal by the end of the month.

@fastingtostart - Good job! Water fasting is 'hard core'! The ultimate 👍🏾 I am only able to water fat 1-2 days a week. I claim 'mental lazyness'. But, it is the best thing for me. I need to try to get in a few days this month... Good luck!

Know what you mean with feeling ready. All it takes is some strict disciple, and that is not difficult when avoiding the blood sugar high and lows.

@Draglist - I'm 5' 8". my BMI "starts" at 164lbs and goes all the way down to 125lbs! (I admit that would be 'crazy')
