For the spices I used garam Marsala, coriander, cumin, and a little bit of cinnamon instead of the recipe. I added a can of diced tomatoes. I added a five cloves of minced garlic to the sauce and fresh minced ginger. Sautéed the ginger and garlic in coconut oil for a little bit until it smells fragrant, added the spices and mixed it all around until it clumped up all together. Added the chicken to coat, then the tomatoes and paste. Stir for a few minutes, add mushroom when chicken is almost done. When the chicken is done, I taste and added whatever extra spices/ salt to my liking. I added extra butter and cream when the curry is almost done. I didn’t follow the recipe exactly. If you like it spicy add chili peppers to it. I used a few drops of after death hot sauce becaude it’s insanely hot and has cilantro taste in it.

I was adding the spices (garam Marsala and cumin/coriander) by the tablespoons so don’t be too shy with it. Cinnamon, I was more conservative with because it is strong I didn’t want it to overpower the dish.
