Ended up cleaning the pool before I could swim because the crazy winds managed to get all sorts of weird stuff in there. Disaster swim, always entertaining when that happens. Water up my nose, in my ears and my favorite suit is finally at the end of its life, it seems as one strap was much longer than the other when I got out. thank goodness I swim alone. might have been a scandal! got almost four years of regular use out of it, so not bad. I have plenty more, so we're all good. supposed to be hot again today, so going back in. umm, just looked at costco site. they ditched speedo for nautica???? no! that's a bathing suit, not a swimsuit.

working in the yard today, need to decompress after another super stressful week at work. plus, it's overgrown, yet again. that's a good problem. I also want to reorganize the deck so my floating chair is in a place I can watch tv from outside and I'll use it more. also need to figure out why I'm using so much energy this year. already accounted for the pool heater and turned it down. it's nuts. gonna be blunt. this girl is gonna choose walking around in the dark over not eating the food I like. need to figure out if I can add more panels to the roof.

need to make a yogurt brownie thing for Valentine's Day. will knock that one out tomorrow, I think. going to try and make PB2/yogurt royal icing of sorts. edit: we're doing marshmallow icing. meets the criteria and looks easy enough. this page is full of intriguing recipes even though I started off looking for icing: https://www.yummly.com/recipes/low-calorie-cupcake-icing?prm-v1=1 may also try the cauliflower based ice cream that Will Tennyson made this past week. or not. we'll see.

a couple of sparring crabs from the bay last week. when I was younger, the water was a mess. look at that clear water. amazing.

I'm really not jealous at the weight thing (though I should be). I am jealous of the swim, the bathing suit, the hot, the deck, the folding chair and of course the crabs. Wistful in 22degrees.
