Weighed myself this morning. Plan was to weigh myself just once a month, but I wanted an idea of how I am doing with my plan. Goal is to lose 5-7 pounds in February and I appear to be on track.
I really like not being obsessed by the scale. In previous attempts (some very successful) I would weigh myself every morning, and often several times during the day and even during the night. Not focusing on the scale makes it easier on me. If I want to have a cup of tea or hot chocolate in the middle of the night (insomnia still) I can do it and not worry about the additional liquid weight when I get up. And I'm okay with what I've lost in 12 or 13 days. When I weighed every day I'd get upset when I didn't see some kind of loss daily.
