Shingles vaccine (1st part, 2nd in 60 days) and pneumonia vaccine. My pharmacist took me aside awhile back and was horrified I hadn’t done this yet between my age and my pulmonary issues. I promised i would after surgery and here i am. Arm is killing me and im sick to my stomach as promised. My MIL had no symptoms i was hopeful that would be me. If you are over 50 food for thought. Shingles is apparently very painful.

Glad you’re getting the Shingles shot taken care of! I got both done earlier this year and had no reaction. Saturday I’m getting both the new flu and Covid 💉💉

Had shingles and my doctor still recommend getting the vaccine. Shingles affects everyone differently and mine was like a 2 degree burn. Valtrex cleared it up in about 5 days.

Jb and mike unfortunately i had a bad reaction. I figured i probably would as i get sick after the flu shot. Im starting to feel better now tho at 1:30. I have flu shot, rsv vaccine and covid booster to go in addition to 2nd half of the shingles vaccine. I dont normally get these vaccination shots but as im getting older im getting more aware of staying well. Jb glad you had no reaction!

Agreed YOH, my next appointment with my doctor is a talk about Shingrix. I'm hoping not to have a reaction to it, but if I do, so be it. My mom had shingles, and no thank you. Hope your arm and tummy are feeling better.

A bad reaction to immunization can mean your immune system is better than those that have no reaction..

Sk-I’ve never ever heard that. That’s a thing? That would be fantastic then because I’ve literally been in bed since 11pm last night and am just now getting up to eat but going right back to bed. I feel better but am super fatigued.

I recently had shingles. Still some minor nerve pain periodically in my right shin. It was so bad for me. No pain like it ever, the burning rash. Oh my. Bad memories. So glad you are getting poked!! 💪🏻😇
