I know a lot of you record your workouts digitally now but I still do it the old way, in my body, brain, and calendar. Here is a typical month from last year, complete with chocolate stain. I wish my diet was so consistent!
My new calendar is ready and waiting!!

I use the T-Shirt & Face method Anne by the fit of the first and the mirror view of the second I can assess my state 🤣

analogue is the way to go with keeping such records. so much more character, and leaves you with an invaluable memento many many years down the line. we're definitely not just old romantics

You know, Wombat. I throw mine out at the end of the year but I do wish I had kept them now. But at least this one remains forever in my FS journal if I ever need a momento!

Great stuff Anne!!!💪🏊🌟💕 I have bought or printed my own wall calendar every year since about 2013 for tracking workouts too. I'm afraid mine is not as pretty as yours, but I know the feeling of looking back and wishing I could be 'there' again - when I was doing x, y and z consistently. And, although we majorly down-sized when we moved from SA I still rolled up and brought my 2019 and 2020 calendars with me and still have them today to refer back to. I guess it's not for everyone, but it works for me too. xxx

Side note - I do have sentimental info on them like outings with my mom and family on there too, but the workouts and healthy habits tracked are part and parcel of 'living my best life' (or trying to😊).

Yes, daily or weekly routines are what keeps me going. Having things to tick off and feel accomplished about is part of it for me too.

ACC, that was a particularly good month....summer. no family dramas, no work dramas, no illness, no injury. Just a good solid month.

God 😱 this is soo out of my reach..I really admire you! ❤️ I feel I am at the top of the world if I am active twice a week.. lol In the past when ever I did it so intense I used to burn out after some time and to go back worse than ever. This time I am trying to see if less intense will be more sustainable for me.. we will see..

Oh yes, Nunido....a lot of people go for it too intensely and burn out or injure themselves. But the secret to my success is a little (relatively speaking) and often. I also avoid high-impact stuff now and stopped trying for PBs a long time ago. If you feel on top of the world after 2 workouts a week, then do that......forever!

Nothing wrong with the old fashioned way! I like some of the metrics from the electronic version but writing it down is an accomplishment too that you checked it off your list of things to do!
