Thanks, Marge. I am already doing the exercise and IF. But the diet needs tidied up to get rid of that pesky kilo that keeps getting in our way

I'll be watching to see what works for you! After the advice yesterday, I'm feeling much more acceptance towards my pesky kilo. Had a beautiful hour long run round our local country park this morning - I felt so strong and healthy, and I've even started to enjoy running up hills. Like you I do need to cut out the sweet stuff, it's becoming a too much of a habit!🍬🍪

Hi good luck! I’ve done intermittent fasting for one week and lost 3lb! I’m doing it every day, but doing 12:12 (I’m breastfeeding so I was advised not to go longer than 12 hours). I stop eating at 7pm and have breakfast at 7am. I find this amazing, I failed at so many diets before but this seems to work as there’s no complicated rules to follow! My plan is to do 14:10 every day once I stop breastfeeding (7pm to 9am).
Drinking lots of (unflavoured) sparkling water helps feeling full in the evenings.

Hi, theoriginalcurvygirl. Glad you have taken advice about the breastfeeding aspect and are taking a sensible approach. I do my IF on my swim days because I don't eat before a swim, then my next opportunity to eat is 12 noon so that works in well if I stop eating at 7pm the night before.
