Way to make a burger gourmet...I bet it was so much better than just the traditional cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato, boiled vegetables, and fries that most of us would probably have!

My parents always made the best burgers when I was growing up! Dad cooked, too. I think they spoiled me for anything but a great homestyle burger.

burgers are so good i always like them growing up also my dad is old school no burger buns 2 slices of white bread no need to waste that money he said on more bread to this day i use no buns

have you tried a bruger with no bun? you can do lettuce wraps. just putting out there different thoughts. not everyone knows about it but I love it!

Yup! Mom made the best burgers and I cannot replicate them either. :....( I use wheat bread too, not buns. I've had the no bread burger from Carl's Jr. It's actually good and so is their Grilled Chicken sandwich. Buns don't really cost that much, but they're pretty and make the burgers shine like stars. Especially the buns w/sesame seeds on them. I bought Grilling buns when my big sis & nephew were here, by Bimbo. Oh, they were so good off of the grill. Oh, & I luv Pepper-Jack Cheese too. :-P

Jenna, I do know about lettuce wrapped burgers. Usually if I don't want a bun, I just do a bunless burger with all the fixins. Before I started maintainence, I did that more often.
