Thanks Nikina, it’s been snowing here and now it’s turning to ice. I love snow, but only when it’s soft and fresh. Hope you got your visa sorted. It was such a rigmorale when I did it years ago. 

Aah, it's always good to hear of someone on the other side of the visa rigmarole, as you say. I will be glad when it's done tomorrow, but then comes the 8 to 12 week wait for the result, but I'm still feeling fairly positive. We have 2-3 cms of snow forecast tonight, so I'm hoping it will be melted, or soft and fresh, and not slippery and sludgy tomorrow. I have very bad memories of falling flat on my arse walking in snow many years ago, so I still would rather avoid it if possible. Pretty to watch falling outside, protected by a lovely double glazed window, though. 😊👍

@nikina I laughed at the picture you painted, watching snow through a window. I remember the first time I went skiing. I thought I had died and gone to narnia. The country pubs around had roaring fires and everything was picture perfect (just like the books I’d read as a little girl, dreaming of snow), until I got out of the chairlift and fell flat on my face😂. Still one of my favourite memories. I hope your visa stuff goes smoothly and you get it back asap. 

Hey LB, hope you’ve mailed it now. Adulting is so boring sometimes isn’t it? I watched love actually at the cinema last week, 20th anniversary limited release. It’s one of my favourite movies.

Wet snow! Ad! Just be grateful it’s not hail or sleet. I always go away in winter but due to an unavoidable commitment I’m stuck here for winter 🥶. I forgot how wonderful the wet, cold weather is. 

LB, that sounds like my kind of documentary. I’m debating whether to watch home alone or miracle on 34th street tonight. There aren’t many new Christmas movies I love. 

not new but Home alone 2: Lost in New York (luv the Plaza Hotel) and the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen? 

Those are classics. Absolutely love them👌.
