More pain today. Told therapist I wanted to learn to squat and to pick up things from the floor, and she added several very intense (for me) exercises to my regimen. It really hurts to do them, but I’ve managed to get in two sets of each of the new ones. Couldn’t do the old ones at the same time, because I was totally spent. Just put Voltaren on my knee (not directly on scar) to try to ease the pain.
Still walking 2 miles a day with the walker and the cane. Today I did a lap with no assistive device, but it hurts more. Still don’t walk quite “normally” without something to hold onto.
Just got a blessing! My husband took a guy from the church with him today to run an errand. While they were gone, the guy figured out how to get the car phone feature to work! That was one of the things I was most excited about with this “new” (2016) car, but I could never get it to work no matter how many times I read the manual or how many YouTube videos I watched. A nice little blessing to take the edge off the knee pain!

Thanks, Shirley. I took half of a Tizanidine, and I am starting to feel better. I don't know if I'm SUPPOSED to take Tizanidine while on the Eliquis, but I figure 1/2 pill won't kill me. So far, I'm right.

Sounds like you are working hard to get good function back. My phone had been connected to my car since the day we bought it and not long ago it was working when I parked and went into a store and wouldn't connect when I came out. Like you I did everything I could find to fix it and finally gave up and took it to the dealership and had one of the salemen do it for me. Glad you got yours hooked up.
