I've been trying to get up & get my day started a little earlier. I'm sure salt also contributed to a gain. I "got rid of" some of yesterday's food an hour later so, there's that 😐 In reality I'm still the same size I was a couple of lbs. ago, so choosing not to sweat it.

More energetic today than yesterday. I had good intentions to get more done yesterday, but felt a little tired. I was happy to linger over my 2nd cup of coffee & read my new Southern Living magazine. I did manage to get a couple of loads of laundry done. I also packed away all the Christmas pillows in the window seat where I store them. I'd tossed a bunch of them in the sunroom. I puttered around in the kitchen, rearranging some of the decor.

In spite of feeling less motivated, I still cooked myself a meal for dinner, even though Hubby was out for the evening. Nothing fancy...I popped a chicken breast in the oven & boiled eggs to add to my noodles & sliced up a bunch of veggies. When Hubby got home, he commented "Oh you cooked" when he saw the pan I'd used for the chicken.

Today, I had a good day @ the Gym. I did all of my Therapy arm exercises & did some additional light lifting with weights for my arms. I need to keep it in mind on the days I don't go to the Gym, I actually feel better after doing the exercises. I made the mistake on Wed. of trying to do planks. My body weight stressed my arms & it made them hurt 😒 I was still sore (lower body) yesterday, but today the hip abduction machine didn't hurt as much. I did an extra set on the Leg press at a higher weight. I only had 15 minutes on the bike, so I upped the incline a notch.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny & Mid to upper 50's. The plan is to finally get all the Christmas decorations down on my front porch. Yes....the lights are on a timer & they've continued to come on every night. I also want to snip back the browned leaves on the Lenten Roses in all the gardens. I have a lot. The cold has made most of the leaves turn. They're starting to bloom & new leaves will come up. There are also Mums that need trimming back.
