thanks. feeding my sweet girl something that I have to wear gloves just to touch is so very counterintuitive and unnerving. literature says most animals do fine with it, so we're going to trust the vet. and when I say literature I mean the openly available stuff, not the manufacturer's materials. I have to be careful to limit just how much I read though. you can go into a deep dark rabbit hole very quickly if you don't exercise restraint. the good news is that the hospital she's going to is associated with UC Davis and they have an amazing animal medical program.

she's almost 16, fritzy. she's been with me pretty much since I bought this house. she's a Toller, not a golden, so odds are good for living a long life.
