made the mistake of taking Sadie for a walk alone to the end of the block and did not crate the menace. He tore up a bunch of boxes sitting by the door waiting to be broken down for recycle and my room looks like a cardboard explosion. shame on me, but thankfully it's just mostly empties and an unopened box that I am keeping. he's an explosion of energy alternated with desperate puppy cuddles when he knows he's been bad. and afraid of statues. last pic is funny because that's the face at the glass door that I couldn't open because he dragged a bunch of stuff in front of it in seventeen minutes.

Sadie is doing okay. learning that I need to walk her two or three times a day on her own so she can keep her little body moving. Her follow up visit is scheduled for the 30th. will be steroids and chemo as of this moment. focus on keeping her feeling good as long as possible.

Shasta is definitely the mom dog of the house these days. Chance got scared and she went running towards him to defend him. This is funny because he's huge. Sadie fits underneath him. He's still puppy lean but will fill out.

As for me, been logging the walking miles this week. Had a heart to heart with new boss about how taking work away actually makes me anxious because the culture of busting my butt at all times is so engrained in me. And no, I'm not alone. Building some stuff out for the house this weekend, going to try and swim but also walk these dogs because the cool weather makes them crazy. May stage some Christmas decorations on the house but save turning them on for next week.

Eating more like my normal self again. Logging and moving. got more stuff to donate this weekend which means more space in the house. BF is coming over to help me mount the big TV to the wall after a couple of years on a cabinet and I think that is going to make a huge difference in the overall space of the room. That's exciting. It's like getting a new house with no real effort.

Numbers: need to lift heavy things again. need to swim. said I'm not getting a new watch until I either swim 30 days or walk 150 miles, so I have some goals. I'll probably hit the miles first, TBH. gotta walk dogs, don't have to jump in pool. Such is life.

Exciting to get your tv mounted and make more space! Look on the bright side, had the boxes not been there, it could have been a lot worse!:)

Beautiful dogs and flowers. I would much prefer coming home to torn cardboard instead of the poo mine left on the floor. She has a doggie door but makes me a "treat" anytime I leave without giving her one on my way out.

2melons, I'm still dealing with infrequent accidents. I don't have a doggie door because two of them are almost as big as me, but Chance doesn't know to bark to go out although maybe he does now because it's been a couple of months. Anyways, with possums and skunks outside, no doggie door for me.

Love your dogs. Sadie reminds me so much of my Lucky when she got older.
