Well at least it's something after 2 days of protein shakes and bars plus one "regular" meal.
I took my diabetic cat Marco to the vet last week and then kept him all day to do a glucose curve, checking his blood every couple of hours. Everything has been exactly as it should be once I started giving him insulin a little more than a year ago. This time they told me to reduce the insulin, I guess because the blood sugar was lower than it should be. Then they said to watch and see if this helps decrease his appetite (he always acts starving) and to see if he pees more or less and let them know if he seems lethargic. How can you tell if a cat, who normally sleeps about 20 hours a day is lethargic?
