I woke up with a sore neck...felt like a pinched nerve. 😫 I rubbed it down with Voltaire...twice...took Ibuprofen...and used my battery muscle massager before it finally felt better.

We went over to our neighbor's for afternoon cocktails by the river. Our hostess made an appetizer plate for each couple and I may have over indulged just a little. Cheese & crackers...chips & salsa...an organic beef snack stick....chocolates...blueberries (OK...those were fine) There was more that I did resist. We had the opportunity to meet & converse with a couple that moved in in the spring I had not officially met. They were very nice...he's originally from England & they both moved here from Arizona. They are a bit quirky....they don't have wifi or Cable TV...and don't have a regular cell phone. They also don't go out to eat often...preferring organic cooking. But their favorite resteraunt is a fish & chips place about 30 minutes from us. But...they love books...and wine 🍷 And absolutely love our area because of the nature, wildlife & friendly people. We had a nice time visiting.

By the time we came home, I missed our afternoon walk. I did get a few steps in walking down to the river...up to their house to use the bathroom...back down....then back up to go home.

I made Coconut shrimp for dinner. I think they turned out pretty good. I was happy the coating "stuck" to the shrimp. I had them not long ago @ Outback and when I bit into the shrimp the coating came off. The trick was to coat the shrimp in flour...then egg...then a combination of panko & coconut. I fried them in coconut oil. Yummy! I served yellow squash on the side.

Hubby & I watched The Voice...now time for bed 🛌 💤😴

Wow Sherrye, that sounds like fun. It is so wonderful when you have people you appreciate and enjoy spending time with. Plus, your shrimp sounds fantastic, I rarely get to have any as my hubby is allergic. 🙃🌸
