Medium walk is not the long walk, but here we are. Little girl is doing better at keeping up, but she gets tired. Going to have to figure this out. It's not like I don't have the resources, there's a treadmill in the house, there's a fan in front of it. I guess I'll be taking ten minutes during the day to move because those little bits add up. for anyone new, "little girl" is a reference to my senior dog, not me. that would be weird. maybe not weird, but out of character. it's a journal, not a novel.

medium walk last night. it cooled down some, but no onshore breeze, so dogs were hot even though we waited until after dark. ordered some new disc-o lights for them since last year's seem to be dying even after a battery change and drivers are even worse than last year.

Ate right around 1200 again, body is fighting hard to retain, talking with nutritionist this afternoon. I already know she's going to tell me to stick with the plan and keep moving. muscle up, water up, blob holding. I only mention water because I ended up drinking about two gallons yesterday and did not sweat much. Always interesting what bodies do in extreme temps. Jumped in pool once we got home, too late to swim, but used it to cool my core temp down enough to shiver when I got out. that was kinda great since it was still 83 inside the house. heat is fine, humidity nope.

I have noticed that my pre-exercise caloric burn numbers are down during the work day. Not sure what's changed there lately, but something to be aware of. more caffeine, more fidgeting needed? have things settled down? have I suddenly become a more calm person? yeah, right. anyways.

I think I'm going to decorate for Halloween this weekend. feeling like it. using what I have with the exception of buying new spider webs.

Becky, I have an app that notifies me about celestial events. It’s called Sky Guide and it’s quite good. ISS passes, alignments and moon events. Love it.
