It rained yesterday before I got out for a walk. Today I decided that even though it was a bit drizzly I'd do a short walk anyway. I didn't go all the way down one road I usually do but I walked past our driveway to the end of of the cul-de-sac to make up for a few steps. There is a chance of rain for the next several days so I'll have to fit in walking between the showers.
I did not overeat yesterday but I did eat more...a couple hundred calories over. I was craving something like a flaky pastry. I didn't have anything like that in the house...so I ate a small rice crispy treat after lunch & a chocolate chip cookie with a small bunch of grapes after dinner (in spite of planning to eat a fruit Outshine pop) The cookie & grapes put me over....oh well 😏
I did a couple of loads of laundry (1 is actually hung & folded...ready to put away), vacuumed the stairs, cleaned the bathroom and watered plants in addition to the routine housework I do most days.
I've been watching Grace & Frankie on Netflix...I'm into the 2nd season. I watched 4 episodes yesterday & 4 more today 😌 It's both funny & touching.
Roasted Chicken thighs, baby carrots & baby red potatoes on tonight's menu. It will be a nice dinner for a rainy day.
Sometimes there are mentions on FS of people some know...both family & friends...that are not encouraging of their new healthier lifestyle...whether it be diet or exercise. I've been lucky that most of those I know are supportive. It was fun discussing all the similarities my Niece & I have in our weight loss journey. We're the same height...started at close to the same weight with a similar ending goal. She's always joked maybe she was really my daughter...we're both busty & shorter than her Mom & sister. It does make sticking with my program easier with support. Although spending a lot of time with my sister includes her strict adherence to having consistent & regular meal times! It works for her....she's about the same weight as me & taller.
Time to feed the pups & cook....
