A little update today....No scale....for weighing me or my food so I can only hope I'm not doing too much damage.

I packed snacks for our drive up so we didn't have to stop & eat fast food. Fruit, some cheese & turkey snack sticks, crackers & popcorn held hunger at bay. I have tried to make good choices when selecting what to eat for the various restaurant meals....even if it means sharing with Hubby instead of eating it all by myself. We are staying with our Niece & Nephew...so we've eaten a couple of home cooked meals with them. Feeding "company" often includes bread & more sides than I'm accustomed to serving at home. I have indulged in the bread & a second serving of the yummy corn on the cob (fresh) & a more indulgent snack than my usual. And last night I worked my way thru a small bowl of potato chips while we sat outside on the deck visiting. If I'm overindulging in anything, it would be the Adult beverages. The wine has been flowing freely 🍷🍷🍷

We went to the Pub where we had our last celebration with Brenda to meet family for lunch on Monday.

The service for her yesterday was absolutely lovely. The woman officiating captured her essence perfectly 💖💞 Afterwards we went to "visit" Hubby's Mom & middle sister because we were close to the cemetery where they are. It's a beautiful spot with trees & old headstones. There is a lovely chapel to sit & contemplate.

There is a local resteraunt we have gone to for many years as a family. We've had intimate lunches with a couple of family members & big celebrations for birthdays & Christmas. The staff has been there for years and they're like family as well. After the cemetery a bunch of us gathered for a meal & drinks.

We have seen lots of family...including some we don't see as often.
We had discussed doing a boat day today but the weather is overcast this morning. Having a little breakfast...half a Costco blueberry muffin, grapes, melon & blackberries with coffee.
