So we're waiting for my niece's daughter to arrive in Toronto before we can proceed with any decisions. She got a Covid test today & is waiting for the results before she leaves to drive up. She's in Detroit so about a 4 to 5 hour drive. She is also a registered nurse so may be able to get results more quickly where she works. Our dogs had an appointment next week for a couple of shots they'd need to be boarded so we did reschedule & had that done today. We've called around to try to find local facilities where we can be tested with a faster turnaround for results. The rapid test isn't acceptable to cross the border and the test is supposed to be administered within 72 hours of you crossing. We looked at flights & they're starting at $1000 so that won't be happening. We would have to drive and it's a long drive. We do know our niece wanted to be cremated so a service could be held soon or planned a bit later. It's just hard to sit still & not be able to make plans yet. Of course our immediate reaction was the desire to be close to the rest of the family.

I have no motivation to do my exercises today. It's also really hot so our afternoon walk will probably be abbreviated. Maybe after we know whether we need to plan an immediate trip or we have more time my motivation will improve. I didn't sleep well....woke up early morning & tossed & turned til I dozed off again. I slept about an hour, then got up.
