Interesting numbers on the scale after yesterday's workout. Did a big switch up, progressive sets of 500 strokes increasing the current each time. Wow, was that last set hard. I'm also a little sore, which almost never happens anymore. I'm just using pics to memorialize for myself. 802 strokes (rest in between), heart rate went up with each set, was breathing hard with the last one. Lungs were on fire breathing. Felt kinda good though, been a long time like that in the pool. No one had to pull me out of the pool either. 😝 Finally found some decent swimming treadmill workouts from various competitive swimmers out there, so will be trying new things with my sets. Need to remember to turn the current down when I get in though, I did not do that as I was hauling myself out. Two notches. There's no way I could hold that speed for 30 minutes. Interesting that the 30 seconds resulted in that much less effort even though I was pushing super hard on the last set. We'll see if I can push to the next tier. Welcome to my chipmunk brain.
