Lose weight eating cookies! And swimming a hard swim. And not eating my normal snacks. But hey, I got to eat some cookies. Ended up skipping the wine last night which is probably not a bad thing.

Shoulders and upper back are feeling it this morning, but in a good way. Swim was 855 strokes, 10.2 METs, which is slightly under what I would have rated it as I was breathing hard at the end, but whatever. Average heart rate 147. 10 minutes in peak, 10 minutes in cardio and 10 in "warm up"? Yeah right. There was no 10 minute warm up in there and I swam straight through except to touch the back of the pool every 500 strokes. Apple says I burned 783 yesterday, so some 6,000 to burn for the December award. Still haven't signed in to fitness+, not sure if I have good shoes for that stuff. I tend to wear flip flops, hiking shoes/boots and heels. I'll have to dig in the closet and see if I have some regular trainers. I want that December award because I got so off track from September through November, pretty much.

No walk last night, some stuff was going on that needed to be dealt with immediately. I'm working a two hour day today, so will walk this afternoon. Stay safe.
