Up a bit again...not unexpected....red wine, chips with my sub sandwich (only 1/4 sandwich) at lunch...and a bit of potato salad AND macaroni salad....a couple of cookies....pie for dessert. It all adds up....hit about 2500 calories yesterday. I just ate a big bowl of popcorn for lunch, but I don't think I'll have anything else before dinner. Planning to cook salmon & rice with a salad for dinner, so that will be good.

So....when Hubby is going to paint he wants everything possible removed from the room. He's going to paint the dining room ceiling, since I asked nicely 😏 I have a shelving unit with all my wine, martini & champagne glasses, some dishes & decorative stuff on there. Plus other decorative stuff, margarita glasses etc. on a bar unit & another table. I removed all of the stuff & put it in our sunroom on a table he set up for me. I decided as long as I was moving it I should wash it, so I spent several hours hand washing & putting it all on the table. I took a break so we could get in our walk before the expected rain set in. Then a little rest & a snack. I'm going to go give everything a dusting in there in a minute. Since I always intersperse holiday decor in with the glasses & dishes, it's all out of the way. I just have to bring it all back in as I need it. Now if Hubby will get his part done so I can get on with decorating.

I got some ideas at my niece's yesterday. She's so talented! She does quite a bit of decorating outside since she's in a neighborhood. We are, too but our house is far off the road so only people actually coming to our house can see it. We're hosting our family get together this year so I may put a little more effort into outdoor decor. I always do our front porch, but it isn't that large.

Well, the furniture isn't going to dust itself, so I guess I'll go get that done. Then I need to move a couple of plants indoors from outside. Freezing temps expected tomorrow night....and rain between now & then. There may even be some snow tomorrow.
