My daughter & granddaughter left this afternoon to fly home to Dallas. I came over from the airport to my sister's home to help her & my niece pack. We're making a lot of progress. We'll pack more tomorrow, then we're all headed back north on Sunday. My sister & I are coming back here early next week for more packing. I'll stay with her til she's ready to go back to her daughter's this next week. She's doing a lot better but doesn't want to be in the house alone. We had a good visit tonight after we finished for the day.
Hubby is home with the dogs. We still have no power & our land line phone is down. Our cell service had gone out yesterday as well but came back on tonight. No power at our house also means no water since our well pump won't run 😐 It's also getting colder. Hubby sounded in good spirits, though when we talked.
I didn't track my food yesterday. We ate lunch at my niece's after her Dad's funeral. Lot's of good food all contributed by her group of close friends. Then last night at home we heated leftover wings & fries wrapped in foil on the barbecue for dinner. I also had wine & cookies...several cookies. Today I have been better...our normal breakfast, some peanut butter crackers this afternoon, then a chicken salad from Shane's Barbecue for dinner. No wine tonight.
No scale, so I won't be weighing in til I get back home. I am working though...getting lots of steps in carrying all the items we're packing to the table we're using as a surface to pack from other areas of the house.
Time for bed...I'll read a few minutes then get some sleep 💤 😴
