Although I did eat under my RDI yesterday, I'm a big surprised (but pleased) I maintained. For the first time in awhile I was stuffed after dinner. I kept eating in spite of feeling full for 2 reasons (1) It was so good & tasty! (2) I'd already logged it all in & wasn't sure how to change it 🤔😄 I did leave just a little on the plate, but not much. Next time I know black beans are really filling. With the roasted cabbage & generous piece of chicken breast I could have cut back on something. And this was after only having a little bit of popcorn as a late snack cause I was busy all afternoon.

We're planning on cocktails by the river with our friends this afternoon. As it turned out we could have had Book Club there on Wed. The rain moved out & the evening was nice. I sat outside on my deck for the Zoom meeting. It was a really nice meeting catching up with friends. One of them commented on my recent food posts on Instagram & FB. They're the ones I post on here only not in collage. She said she enjoyed them but I needed to get a better camera....they weren't as clear as my outdoor garden photos. I laughed & explained I'm using my phone camera & usually trying to get quick photos between preparing dinner & eating it. Hubby thinks I'm wacky for taking pics at all 😊 Said, maybe it's time for a new phone with a better camera!

Some also shared how it's been difficult in the past few months not being able to socialize or even work like normal. One of the ladies lives alone & she's missing physical contact. A couple have suffered mild depression. Two are college professors & have recently gone back to teaching....one virtual & one in person. It was good to be able to talk, share & offer encouragement to each other. We all have our own situations & different ways of dealing with this crazy world we're living in these days.

I'm feeling excited for trips I have planned coming up in September. The first is Savannah /Tybee Island with my sisters, daughter, granddaughter & neices. I bought a ticket to fly this week....it seemed the best option. 1 hour in the air. This is a long weekend....Thurs. thru Mon. The 2nd is 9 days away with Hubby....5 in Door County, Wisconsin. Our neighbors/friends will be there as well. We're driving for that one. It's nice to be planning something!
