Surprisingly, I was back down today. I ate just over my 1800 cal. goal. Dinner was a bit higher calorie (by my estimate) so I stuck with a 35 calorie Outshine Lime ice pop.

Just got off a 2 1/2 hour call with my daughter. She works for a mortgage company in compliance in Dallas. Since she's been working from home she works weird hours & a lot of them cause her department has been busy. We haven't talked a lot so it took awhile to catch up.

Yesterday, Hubby & I spent a couple of hours with our friends down by the river. It was nice to have a visit! I had 1 Bud light seltzer (mixed with sparkling water) as my cocktail. I did nibble on some Chex Mix but I wanted to be careful & save calories for dinner. I did muss out on our walk cause by the time we got home I needed to get our dinner in the oven & feed the pups. It's a nice day today & I'm pretty sure I'll get a walk in.
We saw 2 fawns yesterday when we were headed home. They stood & watched us so I could have gotten a good pic if I'd had my camera....a little to far for a clear one with my phone.
I have put off doing anything with my hair. I bought color to do my roots a couple of weeks ago but haven't used it. The silver is growing in & I've halfway considered letting it. Ideally I'd have my stylist do something to make it blend better....but Covid. I haven't checked with her to see how she's handling things She has a shop at her house so I don't know if she's working, wearing a mask or what.

I was surprised to realize we now had 300 confirmed cases of Covid in our county...6 deaths. But upon further investigation that is not high in comparison. We live in a College town & the kids are coming back to school soon. There are a lot of mixed feelings about it amongst my friends. One friend is a professor & she's just turning 65 so will qualify to teach online & she's relieved. Our neighbor up the road doesn't teach but she works at the University. She's happy to be going back to work. She's been working from home.

Chicken breasts for dinner tonight. Probably with salad.
