Managed to get a swim in last night. Not a great one, I turned up the current and got tossed around. Ended up with leaky goggles, snorkel wouldn't stay centered, etc. Just really gets me out of sorts until I adjust to the change. That said, 760 strokes, heart rate low 130s (at least I don't react when I'm being pummeled) but only 8.4 METs. No walk, did fall asleep early and didn't wake up at all. Who knows what horrors YouTube exposed me to after I fell asleep watching the news. I should go look at my history for fun.
I have been eating air fried halibut fish sticks for the last three nights for some reason, doubled up because they have roughly half the protein of the tortilla crusted tilapia I usually buy, so there won't be a repeat unless I'm feeling like I'm five years old and just want fish sticks for dinner. That said, they were a nice change and the air fryer elevates them when served with kale cole slaw. The crunchy coating is my tortilla stand in. I really miss fish tacos.
