had a sudden shower thought yesterday lol, I’m so excited to get the measuring tape I ordered! I can stop pointlessly fretting over water flux and eat a ton of all the carby foods I love-sweet potatoes, apples, oatmeal, etc etc.... as long as I’m counting haha. I want to be losing fat NOT weight.

Starting exercise again will make my weight go up for about a month, and it will be tough. But I need to change my unhealthy fixation on weight, and think about those sweet sweet strength gains & using body measurements instead. 💪😤

I feel you! Even when I know it's bloating or water weight, I get distressed about the scale going up. Definitely measure yourself! I've started measuring every Monday and it's fun to see the changes even though I can't see them yet on my body.
