Stayed under my RDI yesterday with good results today.

This afternoon I had lunch with 3 friends, hosted at one of their homes. We were invited to share some time together after the unexpected death of one friend's daughter a couple of weeks ago. We all worked together once upon a time about 14 years ago. Hard to believe it has been that long ago. We've stayed in touch, having lunch together occasionally. We shared a meal of homemade chicken noodle soup & garlic bread and had a couple of glasses of wine. As they say, if you're good friends you can pick up where you left off and it's like it was just yesterday. My friend Jen is doing well, considering.

Hopefully, the rain holds off & I can get a walk in. It looks pretty gloomy out. I guess my walk yesterday was around the grocery store. I do manage to get quite a few steps in when I go.

Good drop! And, I am glad you could spend some time catching up with friends even if there was something sad. Friends are a blessing for sure!
