So, couple things I've noticed since my cardio took a nose dive. I look bigger and feel stronger daily. Running 8-10 miles a day really zaps my strength. I was able to push 100 pound dumbbells above my head for 5 reps on my last set last night when I was previously scared to go above 50's the last couple of months. Maybe now my workout partner will not be blowing me away on flat bench anymore, haha! Light cardio on an exercise bike doesn't seem to zap my strength as bad. Almost forgot, another thing is I seem to weigh a bit more due to carrying more glycogen on a day to day but it's not a sure thing since I did have a splurge last weekend for my bday. I sure did not lose the weight as fast since I am not running but I've lost 7 of the 9 now so not too bad.

Cardio kills my strength. I mostly do it because I enjoy running and it helps speed my weight loss. When I get back to bulking my cardio will stop completely. I think it interferes with my 'recovery' when lifting.

@chrisw77 - That is my plan. But, I also plan to only do 2 weeks of 'bulking' during the next phase. May try longer in the future, but unlike with @Diablo360x, the bulking process messes with my mind.

cardio is great depending on end game. I'm physically smaller and not as strong as 8 weeks ago but the amount of times people say I look bigger has blown me away. it's a lean vs big thing with cardio, now that I am happy with how lean I look I could back the cardio off abit but I won't. will keep it up but now have to eat a tonne more. I don't want to lose any more weight or body fat and want to build up lean muscle

@chrisw77 - So far 150 carbs on lifting days seem to do the trick. I know @Diablo360x would laugh at that :)

@chrisw77 - If I eat like @Diablo360x I have to lift what he lifts. I'm thinking he is squatting a bit more than 140lbs... :)
