The creepy winds are here today. This morning was freezing, but you can already feel the warm up. Prayers that the hills will stay free of flames over the next few days.

As for me, I had to read up on the Activity app last night. I wasn't closing my "exercise" ring despite going for a 3.6 mile walk. Turns out, the reason is that you are expected to do things above and beyond your normal activity to be considered exercise. Pretty hard with a full time job and extracurricular schedule, but now I understand the game. Plus, I wouldn't be here if I didn't need to improve my life somewhere, right?

My friend is sick and cancelled dinner on me, so that actually makes things easier. Hard to go to an Italian restaurant and stay HFLC. I did have a plan, chioppino and an antipasti. Alas, it will have to wait for another day. Another party this weekend. Crazy time of year. I love it.
