I remember the permit days. Oh what torture! I remember my daughter and I sitting at a stop light. We were about 5 cars back. The light turned green, and she instantly started to put her foot on the gas. I started yelling, "No! Stop! You have to wait for the car in front of you to go!" LoL My condolences.

I remember those days. We had our boys learn in ranch trucks with manual transmissions. They couldn't drive on the highway until they'd stopped and driven out of a steep ravine. Lots of stalled engines and riding the clutch.

Did that today with my grandson. Transitioned on and off the highway, got gas, back through speed zones and construction areas, and home . He was very reluctant and nervous last year but he now has two rounds of driving school under his belt and is much more confident.
