I’m up at 11:45, having a food binge! So far: 1/4 of a KitKat bar, 100g watermelon, 1/4 serving of pretzels, and a King’s Hawaiian roll with butter - and I still want MORE! OH, just noticed it is after midnight now. Anything else I eat will have to go on today’s (Saturday) Food Log. It’s much easier to KEEP ruining a bad day than to START ruining a new one. Glad I noticed the clock! I’ve had a toothache for a month, and I can’t go to the dentist until the end of October (3 months after knee replacement). It wakes me up, and so does my hurting knee. The barometric pressure has been a factor, I think (with the knee). Since it was STILL hurting at a 5-6 pain level all day (Friday), I laid off the PT and walking again - this time only doing 1.3 miles. Today, I’m going to get back to it whether it hurts or not!

Things started going downhill Friday when I realized that those NUTLESS Chocolate Chip Muffins would be delicious with a few pecans on the plate so I could have some in every bite. I honestly had not thought of that when I thought it was safe to make them! DUH. I don’t think I’ll do that again today, though. I discovered that the Scar Tape adheres better when I wear it during the day instead of when I’m tossing and turning at night, when it rolls up on itself like a Twizzler. NOW, I’m itching! I HATE to itch! Took 2 Benedryl for the itching, 2 Tylenol for the knee pain, and put Orajel on the hurting tooth. Did I mention that I think it is a cavity UNDER a crown! I can’t afford to have a crown replaced, but I’m already missing the molar next to this back chewing tooth, and the two closest to that are loose (and the dentist says they will either start to hurt a lot, or just fall out!). Then I would have NO bottom teeth on the left side after my eye tooth. Might not SHOW, but it will make it impossible to chew on that side. I already CAN’T because of the pain, though, so maybe I’ll be used to it by the end of October, and it will be easier to let them pull the tooth. At least I haven’t been eating while I’ve been writing for the past half hour. Ok, it’s 12:48am now, and if I stay up any longer, I will eat more, so I better try to go back to sleep. The Benedryl pills haven’t kicked in yet, but I have some spray I can use. Thanks for staying up with me and helping me get through the food binge!
