Lots of carbs in the rice. Watch if you have blood sugar problems. White rice metabolized as fast as eating sugar out of your sugar dish. I have purchased some black rice will let you know how it cooks & taste. Much healthier. Retired RN & diabetes educator & Masters in Health Education. We keep learning.

Smbobo, thanks for your input. This is not a large portion of rice & I have no blood sugar issues. I eat brown rice, too.
