Did another treadmill workout tonight. A longer one that got progressively harder. Earlier, I had gotten out as far as opening the pool cover and sticking my hand in there before recoiling from the shock of the cold water and colder wind. Yuck. Don't know if it was me or the weather, but the water was not warm and inviting, so another pass from me. Gotta get more sessions in, the month of February is halfway over. Supposed to warm up towards the weekend so we will try again then. As for this latest workout, now that I know what to expect, I did the 45 minute one with hills and some bursts of running. Burned a lot more calories this time, got the heart rate up into the 130s and got nice and sweaty before a cool down class and a leg massage. Almost like old times except with zero human contact. Still, very glad I got it in, it does take the edge off the day and makes it easier to sleep.
