What? I am up 2.5 lbs this morning from yesterday. I am going to weigh again in a bit to see if it's a fluke because I have been holding very steady the past few weeks. Saturday was yard work all day, including chopping and hauling tree branches. Sunday was housework and a hard swim with 763 strokes which means I was going harder with the faster current. Followed that with 15 minutes of hard kicks w/fins. I'm working on refining my technique these days, so it wasn't sloppy flailing around. I am so much stronger than a year ago, love it.

I have had an extra ~1/4cup of dry popcorn a couple of nights (air popped, 1/2 pat of butter) and shared that with BF and the dogs. We ate out yesterday for lunch, too. Salty food. It all adds up.

the plan is lots of water today in case there is water retention from sodium, clean eating all day, and I'll try to get some extra movement in there. My pants fit and I'd like to keep it that way. I should try and find a challenge pair to wear all day so I'm mindful of what goes in my mouth except it's supposed to be 88 today so it's more likely I'll be wearing shorts shortly and they're mostly too big anyways. I guess I put them on and freak out if they fit.

Onward and downward is the motto for the week. I don't want a slow gain trend overall.

If it is indeed mid 80's, I'm swimming for lunch. can't let this glorious weather pass without taking advantage.

@keyten, I just don't see muscle happening like that, but who knows? I'm guessing it's water retention from eating out since I had roast beef (split sandwich w/BF) and some bacon over a couple of days. those are things I don't normally have in the house and I don't really salt things. the ravioli wasn't high in calories and had really good fiber, but there is definitely something going on so I need to chill and address it. just annoying.
