Day 5 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

I ran yesterday and I went to the gym.

Man the workout was hard! I still lifted my max even though the running depleted my glycogen that I would normally use for the weightlifting.

I felt good after doing my squats and deadlifts so I took a picture 😊

I plan to run this morning and tomorrow. If I can manage to keep the carbs low, the scale should continue to drop…

@HardDaysKnight - It hurts to pull so much when doing heavy deadlifts No other exercise dumps my muscle of glycogen than that one. Sweat literally pours down my face and afterwards my pulse raises above 140, but, I feel great afterwards :)

Good job and nice scale drop. I am still working on strengthening my hamstring for the deadlifts... Did Romanian variety today and I think it went well. My lower back feels fine so I think my form is getting better.

Deadlifts make me sweat like crazy too! Feels awesome. Liv that’s so cool!!! Form is important with deadlifting 👍 better to take it easy and save the back. Have you watched Alan Thrall’s deadlift tutorial? It’s perfect 👌

@CrashtestDawnie - Not sure if I saw that one. I did read "Deadlift Dynamite" by Andy Bolton. If basically covers Squats too because in a way it is the same compound exercise.
