Day 1 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

I-have-no-willpower :)

Yesterday we had a party. There were tacos, cookies, apple cobbler, food everywhere. Of course I went on a ‘binge’. I just had to ‘let the story play out’. I will take the 2 pound gain, and I will probably gain weight tomorrow (because I still feel a bit dehydrated today).

This is why I think my 'no solid food fasts' (and Intermediate Fasting for others), works. This week things will be simple, ‘consume all I want’, just keep it to ‘liquids’ (however these days juices and shakes don’t count as ‘liquids’ because my goal is to limit carbs).

You don't have to 'fight' and use 'willpower' if you 'never go into battle' 🤣

Yeah I often feel the same way. Not eating is so much easier than eating. Some people can control amounts. I struggle with them. You have been here before so you know you can work this off as well. Hope you have a good week

@liv001 - Yes, 'mentally' I feel better during the week than the weekend were I have to constantly 'think and decide' about my eating. I hope you have a good week too!

Ugh thinking and deciding is so tiring lol I miss the simplicity of fasting.
