Day 1 of a planned 5 day fast

For the first time I am the same weight on Monday morning as I was on Friday (the last day of my previous 5 day fast). This means that I wont have to re-lose the weight I lost from my last fast, this feels great!

My wife (@PrincessValerie on Fat Secret) started Keto and basically did not allow me any refined carbs and kept my carbs below 50 carbs a day. The days of binging on McDonald's on my eating days are over :)

My hope this week is to lose 5 pounds by Saturday morning (even though I break the fast on Friday night, I can sometimes still lose weight on the day afterwards). If I can do this I would hit what was (until yesterday) my goal weight. I re-set my goal weight to my "BMI weight" so I still have a way to go :)

Please be patient and kind to yourself. Things are going good for me now, but I went 30 days this past month of no 'net weight loss' even though I was fasting 5 days a week (losing but then re-gaining it back each week).

@jenjabba - Thanks! However, I have to admit, after months of fasting, this has gotten to be 'very easy'. It shows me my body can get used to anything. I just need to give myself time to adjust.
