Feeling a little out of control, both with eating and drinking Diet Coke. I HAVE drunk two bottles of water today, though - having had zero for the past three days or so. At least it's a start. Been going way overboard with the sweets! Thankfully, the Snack Factory White Crème and Peppermint Pretzel Crisps will be gone when my husband finishes them off tonight. Yesterday, I had him hide them from me. I should have more self-control than that, but that's where I am right now. Unfortunately, my daughter made crème brulee "for me" today as a thank you for all the care I've given my grandson over the past week. I've already had 1,917 calories for today (including my planned dinner). I'm going to TRY to just freeze them and not have one until tomorrow. Of course, I was going to try to drink less Diet Coke today, too, and that didn't happen. Well, I DID TRY, but I was not successful.
It's very disheartening, after doing so well for so long (37 weeks) to have such a struggle now. There have been a couple of weeks in that 37 where I was not "successful" by my own standards. The test will be whether I'm able to get out of this funk quickly, or whether I will let it consume me. I've lost 55 pounds, but I still have a LOT left to lose at 204. Hanging on "by the skin of my teeth!"
