Didn't get my water in yesterday or my fiber, but I did stay on plan otherwise, and I got in all my walking. Another 1.2-pound loss this morning. I'm surprised it is going down so quickly when I'm still eating over 1,200 calories a day.

Today is a little harder. I JUST did my first 1/2 mile of walking (7:51am). Usually, I am most of the way done with my 2-1/2 miles by now. I also yielded to 1/2 of a 1/8th slice of pecan pie this morning "to get the medicinal taste from the Paxlovid out of my mouth." That was my excuse. If I stick to plan the rest of the day, I'll still finish today just over 1,400 calories. I'm "saving up" calories to maybe have Cracker Barrel Pecan Pancakes on Sunday (half for lunch and half for dinner). We'll get the Mama's Pancake Breakfast, and eat the two eggs and 3 slices of bacon on toast the next day for lunch. I've got about $140 in Cracker Barrel gift cards from Christmas and my husband's birthday 2/12.

With drinking less water, I have slept much better at night. Night before last, I slept an entire 8 hours at a stretch without having to go to the bathroom. Last night, I went 5 hours. Usually, when I'm drinking 1/2 gallon or more of water a day, I have to wake up every 1-1/2 to 2 hours to pee. Thankfully, I'm able to go right back to sleep. But, the uninterrupted sleep has been a blessing while I've had Covid. I wonder if the extra weight loss is from not retaining water?

My twin friends are going to do some grocery shopping for me this morning. They've been GREAT! They're also going to pick up a waffle for my husband from Waffle House. I DID get him to eat 1-1/2 grilled cheese sandwiches with a couple of potato chips yesterday. Monday, he had nothing. Tuesday only 2/3 bowl of Oodle of Noodle soup and a small slice pf pecan pie. I've been eating "normally" except that the butter beans taste terrible. I might try them again tonight. Last night, I didn't even want to open the container of them, so I had one hot dog for dinner (actually a little less calories than the beans).

OK, back to walking. It's harder today than usual, but I will get it done!

Thanks for all the good wishes. Oh, did I say I still tested Positive yesterday? I had to reschedule three appointments I had for next week (eye doctor, dentist and dermatologist for this yeast infection I've been treating for over three months!).
