Praise the Lord! My weight was down by two pounds this morning - from 239.0 down to 237.0. I ended yesterday with only 1,176 calories (the lowest I've had in the 13 weeks). I did it by not having a biscuit in my beef stew, cutting out all candy, and finally having a couple of respectable bowel movements.

I figured out how to keep the Pecan Pancake lunch under 2,000 calories today. I'm not having my morning DKB toasted with butter OR my middle of the night toast. I have it EVERY morning and EVERY night, but I'm skipping it today, Lord willing.

I did drink just Diet Coke all day yesterday (5 cans, I think), but it was planned and not giving in to some strong temptation. As a result, I "only" had to get up during the night 3 times instead of 4-5. The problem was, though, every time I got up, it took me 1 to 1-1/2 hours to be able to go back to sleep with the knee pain making every position uncomfortable. Maybe I'll take a nap later this morning.

237 puts me over 21 pounds lost! That's like carrying around TWO one-gallon jugs of milk AND another half gallon.

I had hoped to take my grandson to the Pumpkin Patch for a hayride and hay maze today, but I don't want to exacerbate this knee when it hasn't gotten completely better yet. Maybe I can take him next Saturday. He really misses me since he started back to school, and I miss him, too. He's such a sweet little guy, and he's very affectionate. Makes me feel very loved.

This morning, I can actually walk without using the walker, PTL! Both knees hurt this morning - the right one because of all the stair-climbing day before yesterday, and the left one because of putting my full weight on it all day yesterday when I couldn't stand on the other knee. Thankfully, they are only hurting at about a #3 pain level, compared to #7 yesterday.

Four hours and 58 minutes left until Pecan Pancakes! I can't get them until 11am because my husband wants pork chops and they don't start serving those until then.
