Aaaand, the food baby from yesterday's surplus day is....
drumroll......
4 WHOLE POUNDS! LOL
Actually, it's likely around 3 lbs., because I took my arsenal of allergy meds yesterday and as we know they will create a considerable amount of water retention.
But, even if it's just 3, I think that's brag worthy...just a lil bit.
I wish I took a pic of my Mama's face when she saw me take down that whole burger last night. She told me afterwards, she was really impressed. She felt for sure I was going to have to save it as a left over.
I told her, "This girl may be small, but rest assured her appetite is mighty!"
The cake was out of this world delicious and I give major props to my mother's culinary skills for making it. The rest will go in the freezer for later use.
If any of you are interested in low cal recipes for bread and flour, we have found King Arthur's flour website to be a wealth of resources. I'm pretty sure my mother could invest stock in it at this point! LOL
On that note, it's time to do the dirty and get breakfast in. And, no I'm not in the mood to eat a thing. But, I have a good workout ahead of me so all this energy in will definitely be manifested outward into some blissful functional movement.
