Thursday and I feel a little whiney for no reason other than I didn't sleep well for the second night in a row. Beautiful day here - maybe that's why I'm pouty - I want to be outside.
Rodney brought a friend this morning. First time ever and that was pretty cool watching the pair of them just sauntering around the yard without a care in the world. No photo's, sorry. I was relaxing and enjoying them too much to put a camera between us. I'll try to get a shot to share tomorrow.
Ordered the goodies for DH's surprise party next week. Got all the balloons in and will drop them off at the party store for helium. Color me childish as I'm looking forward to playing with the remote controlled air shark myself :-) His huge picture BD card (3x4'!) that I'm going to put up on an easel for signing came in - it's fabulous and I'm trying to think of a polite but firm way to TELL people to not be childish and draw a mustache on him. The musician is flaking out on me - he's definitely off my Christmas Card list. Select friends & family have been invited. I'm pretty much ready.
And he's ready too (although he doesn't know it). He had the barber come cut his hair off last night. It had grown pretty long again and it was always getting tangled by the straps on his CPAP. So, he got a buzz cut. Kind of wild; he's not had hair that short ever (in our marriage). Oh well, it's just hair. He does look better despite how bad he feels right now. He's doing several 'final' things like that lately; as if he senses 'it'. Hey, that's probably what's behind my weird mood.
And with that - I think I'll end this before things get depressing. Only one shot to share; I call it 'Irony'.
