Well, I was going to try to wait for a 199.8 weigh in but the last time I didn’t record a new low the scale karma gave me back over 3lbs… so I’m posting now. Today. Yep.

Not much else ‘new’ going on other than I fell asleep one night watching YouTube sewing videos & woke up to the world of ‘junk journals’ - which is basically a current form of ‘scrapbooking’. At first I was turned off because it seemed confined to crafters using $$$ of equipment but then I found a Dollar Tree $15 challenge and that appealed to me. So I’m doing that in between the sewing & painting and usual obsessive other things I do.

What’s the point of that, you ask?

Well, I’ll tell ya.

It’s all part of my learning moderation. I recognized the past year of weight loss just sort of ‘passed’ with me not being OCD every day about calories & macros & activity & weighing & measuring & size. Ya know?

For ME - because I’m trying to stave off that ‘lather, rinse, repeat’ of weight loss & regain - I’m trying to NOT put my focus on weight loss at 110%. I recall how I’d reached goal weight in the past but ‘maintenance’ wasn’t the same as losing and I ‘think’ that’s what caused the regain. Lack of focus.

Soooo my PLAN here (and I’m not recommending anyone else try this … ) my PLAN is .. if I spread the mindful eating out over the other mindful processes (instead of sewing 12 hours straight) I may be able to make it a part of daily LIFE rather than a temporary project.

You know - the way normal, logical, SANE people do things.

Aww - thank you Angel. I have a blog but I've been cheating on it with sewing. That's when I recognized I needed to work on my moderation. I think I'll go update it today. My whole 11 followers may have missed me (hahaha)

FYI: New study shows that the *one* factor that held constant for people who lost weight and did not gain it back was exercising. This is a relative new finding. Many people increased their food intake but the exercise helped maintain their weight. The study indicated that exercising did not help much in losing weight though.

That's a nice loss! I pretty much have to obsess on the diet to lose weight. If I don't, it's too easy for me to start eating poorly again. Doing the Daniel fast is actually making it easier not to obsess. I've just got a few choices - vegetables, fruit, nust, and beans.
