We do this in the compost pile. By happy accident.  

Indoor gardening is fun. I’m into scrap regrowing and hydroponics now. My bedroom will be a wildflower meadow soon.

Unity🥰🦋 I used to run a vegetable funeral home🪦 I shut it down and opened a plant daycare🍼 

Writingwyo, the best part of the whole endeavor is in watching the roots grow and do their magic, that’s why I love hydroponics. It will be a bittersweet moment when I move them to the soil eventually. Currently I’m regrowing the scraps of scallions (very easy), ginger, lettuce, celery, kohlrabi, and strawberries.

Anna, you grow bok choy?🥬 I’m growing Yu Choy. You can eat its lovely flowers too. I used to have many Vietnamese clients and noticed that every single corner of inside their houses was filled with potted lemon trees, mini gardens of vegetables, herbs and flowers. I’ve been wanting to copycat that. Some of them even had lotus ponds indoor🪷 Why don’t we try that, you and me? 

Morticia, indoor gardening is a great antidote to melancholy. It makes me chuckle when I check how much water those plants drink daily. 

Daddy M, I was never able to grow garlic successfully. Another reason why I hate squirrels🐿️ I might try to grow garlic indoors but I heard it’s tricky.
